How ratings work
One scale for players and questions
Everyone starts at 1000. Questions sit on the same scale, from about 800 for level 1 to about 2200 for level 10, so a right answer to a hard question lifts you more than an easy one, and a miss on an easy one costs more. Each category keeps its own rating, All Things Football is the overall one, and there is no ceiling.
